Biology:
The Gorn are an intelligent reptilian race that stands about 2.4 meters in height and posses incredible strength. They are however, slow moving, and prone to cold. They have thick skin that can resist a great deal of injury. Their eyes are shielded and protected from harmful light, however, the Gorn can see quite well at night.

Society:
The Gorn have are a fascist race of warriors. They must have someone to hate at all time in order to keep their society united. The leader of the Gorn is selected through combat. The winner, or survivor, will have final say in everything that the Gorn society does. If the leader is aggressive, then war will most likely come. If the leader is peaceful, peace will be the way. However in most cases, the peaceful leaders of the Gorn society have all been quickly challenged and beaten.

History:
The Gorn acquired the ability for space flights about the same time as most other races in the quadrant. Not much is known about Gorn history other than they originally came from a star system whose twin suns were destroyed by some catastrophic stellar event. Nearly 80% of the Gorn civilization was wiped out. Those who survived had to do so on a very harsh and unforgiving world. They had to adopted the basic philosophy of only the strong shall survive. The weak and old are eaten.
