Biology:
The Ferengi are a rather short humanoid species with large lobes that allow them to hear at greater levels than most humanoids. Ferengi Males are strongly attracted to women of any race, and love lomacks. (The rubbing of their lobes).

Society:
Ferengi society is driven by personal wealth, ambition, loyalty to their profit margins, and bank accounts. However, the Ferengi have demonstrated a strong dedication to establishing trade routes, and are consider to be one of the key economic driving forces of the galaxy. The Ferengi have gained the respect and admiration of many races that first thought of them as nothing more than a nuisance.

History:
The Ferengi are a young space faring face that have spent what time they have been in the stars establishing trade routes and agreements. They are, by nature, merchants. Historically the Ferengi Alliance has never taken sides in a war, it is more profitable to sell arms to both sides. Ferengi might be merchants by nature, but they are dedicated warriors when it comes to protecting their profits.
