Biology:
The Cardassians are a humanoid species that are devious and extremely cunning. They stand on average two and a half meters tall. They are strong but not as agile as a human. They have an above average intelligence.

Society:
Cardassians are organized into an militaristic sociality lead by the supreme military commander who's title is Legate. Their race tends to be very cunning and aggressive. Due to their cunning, they find relations with other races to be very opportunistic.

History:
The Cardassian Union was nearly destroyed by famine 70 years prior to the Dominion war. The Cardassians joined with the Dominion and together they waged a bloody two-year war against other races within the quadrant. Shortly before the war ended, the Cardassians were nearly wiped out by their Dominion overseers for treason. For many years following their destruction, they concentrated upon rebuilding their society and world. History has proven that the Cardassians are if anything, resilient. They pulled themselves back from the brink of annihilation and have re-established their race as a dominance within the quadrant.
