How do space yard expansions work exactly?
When I try to build one it tells me that there can only be one yard per planet. Do I need to research something else first?
Do they boost other yards in the system rather than doing the obvious and boosting the local planetary yard?
I tried building the 'expansion project' facility first and it seemed to make no difference.
What am I missing? "Space, It seems to go on forever... but then you get to the end and a purple monkey starts throwing barrels at you." - Fry, Futurama Back to top
1. Build a regular Space Yard facility.
2. Build a SY Expansion Project. Let it construct completely, for a cost of 0.
3. Upgrade the SY Expansion Project to a SY Expansion.
You cannot build the SY Expansions directly (assuming you have another SY already on the planet); instead, they must be upgraded to.
Note: If you hit "upgrade facilities" button while the Project is in the queue, you will spend the full build cost instead of the 50% upgrade cost. Instead, let the Project be constructed fully, at 0 cost, before upgrading. Smarter than your average Texrak. Back to top
Ahh. Cool thank you. "Space, It seems to go on forever... but then you get to the end and a purple monkey starts throwing barrels at you." - Fry, Futurama Back to top
