Many new players expressed concerns over the complexity of SEV and this made it somewhat unaccessible for new players. This Mod is a stripped down version with a more streamlined ''Technology Tree'' while still maintaining the Galactic 4X feel. This mod builds off the Balance Mod which has strong roots to the stock game. If you are new to the game or the genre this will help you get the basics without overwhelming you. Play this version until you feel comfortable with the game, then move on to the more complicated mods. Also, this is a great mod for casual quick play!
There is a working AI, so this is good for single player action.

1. Corrected typo in Flak Cannon.
2. Added experimental engines at Level 5 for each engine type.
3. Corrected levels on Heavy Protons and Mesons.
4. Changed Flag Bridge to Battle Bridge and changed image.
5. Added experimental hull types for ships and carriers. You must reach the maximum level in each hull to open them.
6. New colony type: Recreation World for when you need to get a system happy.
